It’s Never Too Late: The Truth About Timing and Transformation
By Katie Joy, The Global Butterfly
Have you ever felt like you’ve missed your chance? Like you should already be further along in life, business, or personal growth? Like time is slipping through your fingers, and no matter what you do, you’re always behind?
I often hear a question from my clients that tugs at my heart: “Am I too late?”
Whether it’s related to starting a new business, finding their purpose, or taking a leap toward personal growth, they wonder if their time has passed.
But let me tell you something that I’ve seen time and time again: It’s never too late.
In fact, some of the most profound shifts happen when we decide, at any age, to truly step into the next chapter of our lives. And I’ve seen it with my clients – people who once believed they were “too late” are now thriving and radiating confidence, purpose, and wisdom. One of those incredible people is Karen.
Karen is 74 years young, and when she first came into The Awakened Soul Program, she was caught in the limiting belief that she had missed the boat. She felt like she was “too late” to embark on a journey of transformation, that she had already lived her life. But the truth is, Karen was exactly where she needed to be.
Just recently, she shared in our group call that she achieved a personal milestone: she can now get up off the floor without assistance. At 74, she didn’t just overcome physical challenges – she awakened to the power of her own wisdom, her energy, and her purpose. And guess what? She now feels more alive than ever before.
But Karen’s story isn’t unique. She represents many of us who feel that we’ve missed our opportunity. It’s easy to look at others who seem to have it all together and feel like we’re falling behind. But here’s the thing: You’re not too late.
Why “It’s Too Late” Is Just a Story You Tell Yourself
How many times have you caught yourself thinking, “I should’ve started this years ago?” or “I’m too old to make a change”?
I get it. It’s normal to feel like time is slipping through your fingers, especially when you see others making moves in their business, relationships, or personal development. But let me tell you, age is just a number. It doesn’t dictate your success, your growth, or your transformation.
The truth is, you are exactly where you need to be. When we believe that we’re “too late,” we start to sabotage our own potential. We stop taking action because we think time has passed us by. This belief doesn’t serve you—it holds you back.
Karen had to realise that, too. She thought she was too late, but then she realised that her journey, her wisdom, and her soul’s purpose were unfolding at the perfect time. At 74, she’s experiencing a rebirth—awakening to new possibilities, new strengths, and new opportunities.
So, let’s break down the myth that it’s ever “too late.” Transformation doesn’t follow a timeline—it follows a divine rhythm that’s unique to you.
Why Divine Timing Matters More Than the Calendar
I often say to my clients: “You’re not running out of time. You’re running into time.”
Let me explain: The universe doesn’t operate on a strict clock. We live in a world where we’re constantly conditioned to think there’s a “right time” for everything—whether it’s starting a business, moving to a new city, or pursuing a dream. We have this belief that if we don’t make it by a certain age, we’ve missed the boat.
But here’s the reality: Life happens in divine timing, not calendar time.
Think about it. How often have you felt called to do something—whether it’s a new business idea, a career shift, or a deep spiritual practice—and then felt that pull in your soul, as if it was meant for you at this exact moment in time? That’s divine timing.
When Karen stepped into The Awakened Soul Program, she wasn’t too late. She was perfectly in sync with the universe’s plan for her. She unlocked wisdom that was waiting to be realised and took steps towards transformation that she didn’t even know were possible for her—at this stage of her life.
The same is true for you. No matter where you are on your journey, your soul has a plan, and it’s unfolding beautifully.
How to Embrace Divine Timing and Trust the Process
I know it can be hard to trust the timing of things when everything around you seems to be speeding up. You may feel like you should already be further along, like you’ve missed your window. But let’s pause for a moment.
You haven’t missed anything. You are right on time.
If you’re doubting this, I encourage you to step into a new mindset:
-
Let go of the pressure. You don’t have to “catch up” to anyone. You’re not in competition with others; you’re on your own soul journey.
-
Stop comparing your path to others. The truth is, no one else has your story, your lessons, or your divine timing. Their path is theirs—and yours is yours.
-
Get present with the now. Stop waiting for the “perfect” time to act. Every moment you’re not taking aligned action is a missed opportunity to unlock your potential. Start now, even if it’s just one small step.
Karen was hesitant at first, but she made the choice to step into her own power and trust the process. And now, she’s reaping the rewards—gaining strength, confidence, and the awareness that she has the wisdom to share with others.
You can do the same. When you let go of the belief that it’s too late, you create space for new possibilities. Divine timing isn’t something that happens to you—it’s something you embrace when you stop fighting against it.
It’s Not About Age, It’s About Readiness
One of the most beautiful things about Karen’s journey is that she’s in her 70s and still embracing profound transformation. It’s easy to think that at a certain age, things should slow down. But Karen’s story proves that we never stop evolving.
So, if you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m too old for this,” let me reassure you: age is just a number. It’s not about how many years you’ve lived—it’s about how open you are to change, growth, and alignment with your soul.
Karen didn’t let age stop her. She didn’t let society’s idea of “retirement” or “settling down” hold her back. Instead, she’s stepping into a new chapter—one filled with energy, wisdom, and the joy of realising her true potential. And I’m telling you now, this could be you too.
Your Time Is Now
So, what’s holding you back? Are you still carrying the belief that it’s too late? Are you allowing age, time, or past experiences to dictate your future?
Here’s what I want you to remember: The moment you decide to move forward, that’s the right time.
You can begin a new chapter at any age, any moment, and no matter what stage of life you’re in. The key is to embrace where you are right now, let go of limiting beliefs, and choose to move forward with purpose.
Karen has done this—and so can you.
