Setting Goals When You're Unsure of What You Want
In this video, Katie Joy, the founder of GlobalBetterfly.com and host of the Awakened with Love and Rise with Pure Joy podcast, addresses the question of what to do when you don't know what you want in terms of setting goals. - Dream: Make your desire more specific by envisioning what it would look like. For example, if you want to travel, specify where you would like to go and what you would like to do there.
- Goal: Turn your dream into a tangible and actionable goal. Make it short, positive, and in the present tense. Include a specific timeframe, and make sure it excites and motivates you.
By following this strategy, you can clarify your goals and take immediate action towards achieving them. For example, if your goal is to go on a Caribbean cruise in mid-2025, you can start researching different cruise options, flights, and destinations.
